There’s no better time than now to start your Cricut business.

Below I outline 5 reasons you should get serious about your Cricut business.

1. You can actually start making money
If you’re reading this article, you have at least thought about starting a business using your Cricut machine. A business solely exists to make a profit. That’s it.
If you’re not making money in your business, it’s a hobby. An expensive hobby.
When you get serious about your Cricut business, you start taking steps that lead to you making money and the amount of money you make lies within your hands.
Making money won’t come easy, but if you’re willing to put in the work, your business can provide for you and your family.
2. You can leave your job
A lot of Cricut business owners work full-time jobs and craft on the side. That’s what I started out doing. I would work my job during the day and come home and make Etsy orders at night.
When you get serious about your Cricut business, you can start earning money and can eventually quit your job.
Again, it will take time to build up to this point, but if you take the right steps and invest in coaching, ebooks and other tools to help you navigate, you’ll be off to quitting your job in no time.
3. You can hire people
When you’re starting out your business, you will wear all the hats. You’ll make and ship orders, create social media content, do your own bookkeeping, and so much more.
When you’re serious about your Cricut business and you have money coming in, you can outsource tasks that you don’t enjoy doing or that are outside of your expertise.
If you hate bookkeeping, send your receipts to a virtual assistant so they can digitize and store them.
4. You can have more flexible time
The one thing that we all want more of, but can’t create is time. We want more time to sleep in the morning. More time to work on our business. More time to spend with our family and face it, trying to run a business and work a job doesn’t allow for much leisure time.
When you get serious about your Cricut business and you’re at a point where you’re making good money and can hire people, you’ll have more time to travel, sleep in and spend with your family.
5. You can make a large impact
When you think about some of the companies that make a large impact in your community, some of them are nonprofits, but where do nonprofits get a large chunk of their money? From companies. Yes, they get individual contributions but companies can provide sustainable income to nonprofits.
What I’m saying is, when you’re serious about your Cricut business, in addition to providing for your family, you can create jobs and support causes right in your community. You may already give to organizations in your community, but when you have a business you can give even more and also use it as a tax deduction.
Getting serious about your Cricut business can change the trajectory of your life. You can continue on the path that you’re currently on and wonder how your life would have been different. Or you can make a plan and invest in it.
