Summer is wrapping up and school will be in full swing in a few more weeks. It seems like it was just yesterday when we were celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week in May and here we are getting ready to go back to school.
This easy clipboard makes the perfect back to school teacher gift. While I’m not a teacher by trade, I do enjoy teaching readers like yourself how to use their Cricut machines.

Supplies you’ll need:
Step 1: Upload the svg file
First you need to upload the svg file to Cricut Design Space. I have this design in my Etsy shop as part of a teacher bundle. You can get that file here.
For the teacher’s name, you can type it yourself. The font I used is Amelya.
Step 2: Resize your design
Resize your design to fit the size of your clipboard. I used this exact clipboard which was 9 in. X 13 in. I added a rectangle, the same size as my clipboard, to Design Space so I could overlay my design and resize it.
Step 3: Cut your design
Once I determined the size vinyl I needed for each word/design, I used my Cricut Explore Air 2 to cut my vinyl to those sizes and put them on my mat.
Step 4: Apply your design
Using transfer tape, apply your design to your clipboard and you are all done. What I love about this clipboard is that it has an elastic cord on that back where you can attach papers, pens, pencils, etc.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this clipboard decorating project as a back to school gift for your child’s teacher. Don’t forget to like, share or comment on this post! #backtoschool
